Singing is a natural activity for all of us. People could sing even before the words were developed. All children can sing beautifully and naturally. Their voices are still free, and can express naturally their feelings. When we grow up we somehow lose that ability to sing easily and effortlessly.

You can revover your ability to express freely your emotions. Then your voice will find its wings once again, and you can enjoy the joy of singing and your own voice. Liberating shout

When we were children we are taught to be quiet, and not to disturb adults. We learn to control and limit our voices when we are young. This may have been necessary, but we will unconsciously continue trying to limit our voice even when there is no longer need for it. Fear of disturbing others is still controlling us. It limits our singing, and freedom of our expression.

Rediscover the strength of your voice. Learn to shout with your whole body. Shouting with our whole being is liberating experience, and it will help you to release your whole voice. Find yourself a place where you can make noise without being disturbed. Start shouting first quietly and steadily. When your voice has warmed up, you can start shouting with the full force. Shout wordlessly with all of your might. Let your voice be heard. Break your inner limitations and chains, and shout with everything you have.

When you feel your voice becoming free and unhinged, you can experiment with it. Sense your voice and feel how it sounds at its limits. Let your voice be heard at full force. Shout freely, let voice flow unbidden out of you, and relax your body. Shouting naturally is easy and effortless. Effort comes with fighting your own voice.  Practice relaxing and releasing your voice, and learn to shout naturally and effortlessly for long time.

Releasing emotions

We can express our emotions with our voice. All your feelings, all our joys and sorrows can be heard in your voice. There are, however, moments in our lives, when we try to limit the expression of our emotions. We hide our feelings, and repress our natural self-expression. This will stiffen your voice. It will become flat and monotone, and will lose ability to express emotions.

You can regain your natural voice again, and release your limitations. You can return your true emotions into your expression. You can bring life and emotion into your voice. You can release all limitations and inhibitions. You can open the scale and depth of your expression, and release all your natural feelings.

Sounds of animals are useful way to do this. Sound and emotions come deeper from us than just words. Wordless sound can be an effective way to help it. Pure and natural voice can express those emotions which we do not even have words. Animal sounds come deeper from our body and instincts.  Howling, growling and whining are closer to our physical feelings.

Howling is a one way to open the scale of your voice, and express many emotions. You can express sorrow, pain and loneliness by howling. Howl to the sky, and let your feelings be heard. Let your emotion be felt in your voice freely and naturally. Howl out your pain, your misery, your loneliness. Howl out all those things you could not express with words. Express them with this wordless sound.

Growling is a way to express anger. Aggression and anger are often repressed feelings. Growling and snarling like a beast, you can express it naturally. Roar out all your anger, growl deep from your chest like a beast. This will open up your voice to deeper sound, and opens up your depth of expression.

Whimpering can express your feelings of fear and helplessness. You can whimper vulnerable and fearful like a puppy. Fear and weakness are among those emotions we have most difficult to express. This method will help you to recover all your lost expressions.

Funny voices

One of our greatest fears is to be laughed at, and that others will think you as weird or strange. Because of that we learn quickly to control our voices in social situations. We repress automatically our spontaneous sounds, and attempt to sound serious and in control. This controlling stifles natural expression of your voice.

You can recover your natural and spontaneous voice. You can find again joy and fun of your own voice. Find the quiet place, and began to utter noises. Utter your voice weird and funny ways, let go all those voices you have always restricted. Release all limitations from your voice. Do strange and crazy sounding voices. Do this even if it feels hard, it will be especially useful for you then.

Play with your voice, and do funny things. Speak with cartoon voice, and sing funny little songs. Let go of all seriousness, all control. Make noises like an animal, try everything weird and stupid. All those things you have always been afraid to let out. Learn to laugh yourself, and play with your voice. Rediscover fun and joy of your own voice.

Increase effectiveness of this practice by imagining crowd listening to you. Perform before this crown in every way you can imagine, all embarrassing and awkward things. Imagine them laughing at you. Imagine them looking at you weirdly and pitifully. Feel the embarrassment, and continue with your show. Face your feelings, face your fear. Break chains of your voice, and let it rise up freely.

Relaxing your voice

Let your voice flow out naturally and effortlessly. Relax your body so that your voice can flow freely and without any hindrances. Natural voice comes out freely without any barriers or constrains. Then your singing will be easy and effortless. You can learn that feeling within your body when your voice is relaxed and natural, and use it when you sing. Let your voice sing in your body, and resound within it. Singing is born out of the whole body, and its resonation. When you are singing, your whole body is your instrument.

You can find all physical tensions and strains in your voice, and relax them. You can learn to intone so that your body is relaxed, and singing is easy and effortless. Remember that feeling of freedom and effortless when you are singing. You can then relax yourself when you need or want it.

Expressing emotions

You can express all your emotions with singing. Music and voice are natural channels for the self-expression. You can choose emotion you wish to conceive to others, and sing it. You can also let emotions flow free, and express whatever it happens to be at the moment. You can let emotions flow without inhibitions, or involve them consciously.

When you wish to convey particular feeling, first remember it in your mind. Remember that moment when you felt what you wish to express. It can be dream or vision, or just pure feeling. Keep that emotion in mind when you sing. Let that feeling flow out of you, into your song. Let it be heard in your voice. Include that emotion into your words, your voice. Let emotions sing through you, live in you, and vibrate within you. Become an open channel for it. Convey it to the audience and to the whole world.

Allow all songs to arise from the depths of your being. Become the channel of the inner music. You can express all your emotions, experiences and visions by singing. Creative singing is freely singing at this very moment, naturally expressing everything within you. When you sing, let your emotions flow freely into your voice, and let them be heard. Sing and enjoy it with your whole being.

Experience in your heart emotions which each song wakes up in you, and sing it all out freely, without inhibitions. Sing your own song, from the bottom of your heart. Every time you begin to worry about how do you sound to others, and if you are singing correctly, return to that inner feeling. Remember your own heart, and let your song flow from within your own soul. Sing only for the delight of your voice, for the miracle of singning.

Sing, because singing is so beautiful. Sing, because sound and feeling resound so wonderfully in human voice. Your body and whole being is the miraculous instrument that can play most beautiful music. Rediscover the beauty of singing, and your natural voice. Let your voice rise up into the air, and sing for the joy of living.
